Troubleshooting

The detector’s electronics are protected from variations in

humidity and corrosive atmospheres. If you encounter a

problem, try the solutions listed in the following table.

If you still are unable to correct the problem, contact

The detector does not activate. → No battery

→ Depleted battery

→ Damaged or defective detector

The detector enters alarm

immediately when it is activated.

→ Sensor needs to stabilize

→ Low battery alarm

→ Used sensor: wait 60 seconds
